About Me

Over 10 years of experience working with students of all ages – helping them navigate their unique journeys and live their best lives.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of St. Thomas. When I didn’t find a job in my field, I completed an alternative certification program to teach high school, which wasn’t everything I thought it would be.

However, teaching developed a passion for young people in me that motivated me to earn my Masters of Education in Counseling at the University of Houston. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am able to more deeply impact students on a personal level.

Since then, I have worked in high school and elementary school settings as a school counselor and at the college level as a success coach with a focus on transfer students. Working in the schools and collegiate settings has given me a unique perspective on the student journey from elementary to college and beyond – the excitement, the stress, the disappointments and everything in between.

I am now seeing clients through a group practice called TruthTribe, where I get to be a resource and support for young adults as they move through challenging transitions they face throughout their lives. I especially love working with high school students, college students, and young professionals.

When I’m not seeing clients, I’m trying to find the best lavender latte in Houston or snuggling with my adopted greyhound on the couch.
